In 1996 the Lake Pleasant Fire
District (another village within our Town),
voted to
disband and join our fire district. We have incorporated their
inhabitants into our district.
In March
of 2002, District Voters approved two articles for a total of
$1,151,000.00 for the construction of a new main station. Permits from
the Town of Montague were finally granted December 20th 2002. This
station was occupied starting 1/04.
